A performance rendered as a painting: one figure, one instrument, one long violet dusk. The graphic asks to be read slowly, the way a stage is read before the music begins.
Design Story
Brook stands at the centre in a raised-knee stance, bow drawn across the strings, top hat tilted, coat opening into deep purple and indigo folds. The composition splits its light sources — a pale full moon above, a low amber sunrise burning across the water behind the balustrade. Between them, a ribbon of golden notes curves through the frame and pulls the eye from the violin down to the deck. The Sunny's lion figurehead and the tattered flag anchor the right and left edges, while the painterly border dissolves into scattered speckle instead of a hard rectangle. Warm gold against cool violet gives the piece its tension; the skull's grin keeps it light rather than sombre. Above it, brushed lettering reads Sea of Laughter, underlined in a single violet stroke.

Fit & Wear
Placed as a large back graphic, the artwork uses the width of an oversized silhouette without crowding it. The eroded edges let the illustration fade into the garment rather than sit on top of it, and the white ground reads as negative space around the violet mass. From across a room the eye catches the figure and the moon first; up close the notes, lantern and flag emerge. Straightforward streetwear layering — the graphic carries the outfit on its own.
