Design Story

The composition is disciplined. A burnt-orange disc anchors the centre and pushes the figure forward, while jagged energy forks outward in gold and ember tones — motion rendered as texture rather than blur. The violet gi is the only cool note in the palette, and that tonal contrast is what makes the figure read instantly against the washed black ground. Vertical kanji on the left and right frame the subject like editorial column rules, and the brushed AWAKENING lettering closes the layout at the base, its distressed strokes echoing the scattered debris above. Nothing floats; every element earns its position.

Fit & Wear

Placed large across the back, the graphic follows the oversized silhouette instead of fighting it — the shoulders stay clean, the print falls where the drape is widest. Read from across a room, it registers as a warm glow on dark ground; up close, the fine lightning detail rewards a second look.
