Design Story

The composition centres on Vegeta mid-transformation, two fingers raised, gaze level and unimpressed. Golden hair pulls upward against a broken brush ring of burnt orange, with a kanji seal glowing behind his shoulder. Sparks and ember spray radiate outward, then resolve into the heavy brush lettering of AWAKENING across the base. Vertical Japanese type flanks both sides, framing the figure like margin notes and holding the artwork in a clean column. The palette stays disciplined — amber, ochre, cream and deep charcoal — so the burst of energy reads as heat rather than noise.

Fit & Wear

Placed large and centred on the back, the graphic follows the drop of an oversized silhouette instead of fighting it. The tall column of side type keeps the visual weight vertical, so the shape reads long and considered rather than boxy. Black negative space carries most of the garment, letting the amber tones do the work from across a room. Layer it open over a hood or wear it clean with wide trousers.
